Rubbish
Every day it seems we get rubbish through the door. Does the post man not know how excited I get when I hear the letter box go, only to find its just more rubbish. Bitterly disappointing!
Never fear though as now I have a use for it. The Robot just loves to play with it! We have our waste paper bin in the corner where we keep our paper for lighting the fire. This past week The Robot has found it, he pulls it out, tears it, screws it up, chucks it about, chews it and generally makes a mess.
I should mind, but anything that keeps him busy and occupied for more than 5 minutes is brilliant in my book!
What weird annoying things do your little ones play with?
Ramps and Racing Cars
I am pretty excited to be linking in This Little Big Life with one of this weeks play activities. Last weekend I cleared the lounge of all the nonsense toys to make space for the car ramp! Okay, so I was slightly exaggerating by the amount of space we actually needed but I got Dave involved and he found me guttering. We propped it up on the furniture and launched the racing cars down the ramp. This is how the Robot got on:
Can you spot Dave under the table under the blanket? He decided that this was the best solution in order to make the car ramp extra special as the cars magically appeared through the carpet. The illusion is all there, right?
#ABC123 is a challenge I have set myself to complete 26 weeks of posts, every week a different letter of the alphabet. This week is the letter R for Rubbish, Ramps & Racing Cars. Other options were Ribbons and Rainbows.
Do you fancy having a go at the #ABC123 Challenge?
Amazing challenge – love the idea. In our house our “Rs” would be reading (we’re working on our sight words), rummy Q (a game my son loves to play) and running around (since that seems to be what we do every day) #KCACOLS

Mine is happy with an empty plastic bottle or fascinated with a coaster… #KCACOLS
plastic bottles are definately up there with us, especially with the lid!
What a great idea.kids really do play with anything don’t they? We’ve got a playroom full of toys and they both obsessed with my shoes and the recycling…sigh…#KCACOLS
Ahhh, to have a playroom! The kitchen cupboard is high up there instead!
Our magazine rack now only contains old magazines that we are happy to get ripped up! Like you we don’t care because it keeps him entertained for ages!! #KCACOLS

Anything that keeps them entertained is a thumbs up with me!
Aw, bless, he looks so happy chasing those cars! My daughter’s the same with rubbish too – there’s nothing she likes more than an envelope, especially the ones with the plastic window because they make a crinkly noise. 🙂
Thanks so much for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next Sunday!

Awww wonderful. I do indeed love magic and seeing the little ones having lots of fun. My eldest has started asking to play with her Happy Land things this week and her ride on car is still a big favourite. #KCACOLS

It is great watching them play isn’t it!?
The Popple loves playing with junk mail – she scrunches it up, waves it around, then goes around putting it in places like the laundry hamper and toy box. Keeps her busy for ages! #ablogginggoodtime

I think getting to tear up a magazine must be quite fun! 🙂
Oh my how cute he is! Mine has loved playing with junk mail for quite some time. Even now at 2 he still wants to bring me the mail and help me open it. We also love cars and ramps. The ones with a loop are such fun. Thanks for sharing! #KCACOLS
