Can we be inspirational?
Yes, I hope so.
If you’ve followed my blog for a while now you’ll have heard me mention #TribalChat. If you don’t know what this is well it started out and still is a Twitter chat hour on a Tuesday at 8pm. The brilliant Katie from Mummy in a Tutu is behind it all. Over the last year we have grown in numbers, have a Facebook group and numerous chats 24/7.
Three times a year we hold an awards ceremony to celebrate all bloggers, big and small. It doesn’t matter if you’ve only been blogging 5 minutes as long as you are a member of the Tribal Chat Facebook group you can join in. This time round we have 18 awards to choose from and I’m pretty sure if we could we would all vote for Katie to win them all.
Katie is my inspiration behind continuing to blog this past year. I think she is marvellous and is the hardest working, selfless individual I’ve come across in a long time. She deserves the best. There you go I used the word inspiration. All the hard work that Katie puts in inspires me to carry on blogging. Even on my darker days I know it’s still possible to achieve something in the blogging world because I see her achieving.
So why am I talking about inspiration all of a sudden? One of the categories in the Tribal Chart awards is for an Inspirational blogger. I think it’s quite a big thing to be labelled inspirational but if you look a little closer at all the bloggers on the voting list they are all in some form or another inspirational. Writing about what we love and do on a daily basis for people to read, self promotion, achieving little growth milestones, is all pretty impressive.
Louise from Little Hearts Big Love won the Inspiration award last time, to be honest, if she won it again she’d totally deserve it. She writes about her little family and campaigns in the heart matters. Every thing I read from Louise lifts my spirits or melts my heart, she is truly a talented writer and a champion blogger.
At the end of the last awards I got the cutest message from Helena at the Queen of collage. She told me that she’d nominated me for the Inspiration award. I was truly touched that a. She had voted for me and b. Then went out of her way to let me know. Thank you Helena.

When it came round to these current awards I thought I’d do a little campaigning for votes. I don’t need to win anything really, I am content that I’ve won the friendship of some truly lovely bloggers. That still, a little part of me decided I’d be doing Katie an injustice if I didn’t make an effort and see if I could win something! After all there are only 100 or so entrants in the group, I stand a better chance winning something than at Brit Mums or Tots.
Choosing my categories to be nominated in was tough but thanks to Helena voting inspiration for me last time I figured I’d go with this. But am I inspirational?
Yes, I hope so! I get lots of lovely comments on my blog that makes me think to an extent I am Inspirational. As a family we go on many outdoor adventures to a variety of far out destinations, up hills, down dales, on bikes, on foot. Writing about this hopefully inspires others to do it too. The Robot and I spend a lot of time messing about and playing, I document this down for others to try, again I hope this is inspirational as well! I’m pretty sure that there are other reasons but I’ll leave it for you to make your mind up!
If you think I am at least a little bit Inspirational I would love it if you could go and vote for me in the Tribal Chat Awards. Click the image link below to go to Katie’s site and in the voting form put my name ‘Two Tiny Hands’ in the box next to Inspirational.
Whats that? Dedication and Super Blogger!? As part of the voting process you can have votes on 3 categories, at a push and if you don’t mind then please put Two Tiny hands in these too!
Please let me know in the comments if you are going to vote for me? If you are entrant too and want to be considered for a category then let me know I’ll do my best to vote for you. Be my cheerleaders on the 17th of January at the awards night too, I expect we will trend on Twitter so it can’t be missed! Hope to see you there! Thanks Karen 🙂
I think you’re definitely inspirational – your posts encourage me to get out and explore the great outdoors more than I currently do. A new goal for 2017 – now I just need to get a proper carrier for the increasingly large Popple! #FamilyFun

Thanks Katie. I find I can’t carry the Robot for long lengths of time now because he gets heavy for me. Dave is the pack horse. Not going to stop us getting out though. We will find a way!
I will definitely vote for you! I am a member of the Tribal Chat community but I need to get involved a lot more…one of my blogging goals for this year. Good luck! X #FamilyFun
That is a good goal to have. The Tribal Chat crew are some of the friendliest around. THANK YOU!
I will definately be heading over to the facebook page and will check out the voting 🙂 this is the first time i have heard of it! (yes i do live under a rock lol!) #familyfun
Ha ha. Well the more the merrier I say! I shall see you there. 🙂
Done and very best of luck. I love following your adventures so you’re definitely an inspiration to many families who want to get out more. I’ve made the final 5 of the Trespass Outdoor Blog Awards in the hiking category – which was a complete surprise, I still don’t know who nominated me in the first place haha.

The awards were started a little out of protest of the bigger awards at the time last year. It was felt that the bigger awards were too in the favour of the bigger bloggers and this was a hug for all us little bloggers out there! Hope to see you there!
Popping you in a vote. What a lovely post praising some other great bloggers too, everyone loves to be recognised. Of course you are inspirational, I have a feeling your blog is going to go far this year. Have fun with it and of course the gorgeous Robot and believe in what you can achieve!

Hi Karen
that picture of the bike in the hills looks nice, are you still cycling during the winter? I imagine you’d need some very warm coats to keep doing it.
We went cycling on holiday, it was sunny, flat and we wrapped up warm. Not as often as we go out in the Summer though. Needs there to be no wind cos it gets too cold otherwise. That photo was in September, our last big trip of the year!
I’ve voted, good luck #familyfun
Thank you Michelle!!
This is very cool, i didn’t even know about this facebook group but I would love to check it out! You def deserve an award BTW 😉 #FamilyFun

Thank you very much, you’ve just reminded me I need to add your badge.
You’re definitely inspirational and you write beautifully too. I’m off to vote for you. I’m up too but I haven’t done any campaigning as I don’t think I really deserve to win anything (or even stand a chance) as i’ve only been blogging for 2 months. Good luck, I’ll be there for the awards. #tribalchat
How kind of you. I am sure we will hold more awards and you can try another time. Thanks for the vote 🙂
Karen you have inspired me to keep blogging! You are one of the first bloggers I connected with through your brand new day linky and have always been supportive, reliable, loyal to your linky communities and tribal chat and incredibly hardworking. I know I don’t KNOW you but I feel like I know you and feel you are a very genuine person. You also inspire me to get outdoors with my family with all your fab posts about your adventures with the Robot. Recently you have been inspiring us less creative parents to get more creative with messy play which is fab too. I love where you’re taking your blog and definitely would label you inspirational. I can’t not say something about Katie too – she is soooo dynamic and always responds to every little query etc with kind words and advice – her tribal chat group has been so helpful to me – I really wish we could do something to recognise this in the awards but I totally see why we can’t! I hope to pop along to be a cheerleader on the 17th – it’s lovely celebrating success 🙂 xx
