Helena from Queen of Collage gave me a question and answer blogger tag the other day. I don’t normally do these kind of tags but I really liked her questions so I figured why not! It’s only a bit of fun after all. I first met Helena through a variety of link ups and we have both always been drawn to a similar blog subject. Geocaching to name drop one thing!
Let’s get on and answer Helena’s questions and my answers:
What made you start blogging?
Blogging is something I’ve done since 2002 but it’s not something that I’ve stuck with. Two Tiny Hands was One back in August but I didn’t get addicted to blogging until last February this year. It’s given me a new lease of life and a like-minded virtual friendship circle I could never have imagined. I can’t wait to meet them and their kids one day.
Do you think that becoming a mum has changed you?
Yes definitely. Being a Mum is something I always wanted and I’m beyond happy having achieved it. I love my little family and my son. I think it’s great! I have always been fairly relaxed in life and I think that I am still quite relaxed about things now. So in that sense I’ve not changed!
How many children have you got?
I have the one child who we affectionately call the Robot on this blog. If you search hard enough there are two blogs I’ve written that have his real name in!! No clues, sorry!

Where do you get your inspiration from?
A few places really. Real life is the top answer. I like to write about our adventures as a family so quite a lot is about our trips and holidays. The other is from my fellow bloggers and friends. Not plagiarism I might add, stealing other people work is naughty! The parenting blogger world is full of talented individuals that can have many different takes on things. There is always some crossover of topics.
When do you like to write your posts?
Whenever I get the chance!! Dave is really understanding and knows which parts of the blogging week are difficult so let’s me go into my blog world for the evening sometimes!
Are you organised or creatively messy?
Organised. Got to be. I run a linky on my blog and get involved in a variety of other blogging challenges. The other is #FamilyFun who I host with Sarah from TammyMum.com, this is for everyone. We always like to have new bloggers come and join us. I’d love to see you!
Do you like to dunk your biscuits in your tea?
Got to dunk! Just to the optimum amount of time so that the biscuit doesn’t fall off into the tea.
What is your favourite piece of music?
Good question! One I find impossible to answer. Once upon a time in my older youth I’d have said Savage Garden – To the Moon and Back. Now my music taste has changed so much that I often just surf the radio channels and listen to whatever is on.

What is your favourite destination and have you been there?
Favourite destination is a biggy! To be honest as long as my family is with me everywhere is a favourite destination. Cheesy I know! The most favourite place I’ve been with them though is up to Scotland and on to the Islands along the west coast. They are beautiful and I really hope that we will explore Scotland for many more years to come.
Will you be having a handmade Christmas (ie. make the Christmas decor and hampers) or not?
Not quite decorations or hampers but I certainly won’t be having a crazy shop bought Christmas either. We like to keep it simple and keep it cheap. I make a mean mince-pie (not evil mean) so I’ve been known to hand these out as presents in the past.
THANK YOU
Thank you Helena for these great questions… Now it’s my turn.
I’m going to tag…
Susie from This is Me Now
Josefine from My Danglish Family
Beth from Bamm Boo
Jemma from Thimble and Twig
Sam from Chocolate and Wine and I’ll be Fine
Here are your questions:
- How long have you been blogging and what is your best and worst thing about it?
- How will you be spending Christmas this year? Any crazy traditions?
- What is your favourite dessert? All the gooey details please..
- What is your favourite room in your house?
- In which ways do you entertain your children?
- How do you store your memories?
- Are you a savoury or sweet type of person?
- If you could go anywhere where would it be?
- Is there anything you’ve ever regretted?
- What is the best thing you have ever made?
Good Luck!
I like your answer to the favourite destination…sweet. #Fortheloveofblog
Love the random tea dunking question! I’m intrigued by geocaching – sound a great fun but I don’t 100% get it #fortheloveofblog
ha ha. Geocaching is a live worldwide treasure hunt for people outdoors. It’s definately good fun.
Love the random biscuit dunking question! I always like these kinds of posts as nice to learn more about bloggers and how they got started. Thanks for hosting #fortheloveofblog
he he, it was a great question wasn’t it!? Thank you!
It must take some organisation to run two linky’s and find time for the camping trip to Scotland – love those pics.
Always good to learn more about fellow bloggers.

I love these types of posts, always a lovely way to learn a little more about the blogger. I used to love Savage Garden in my youth. But much like you I tend to just listen to what is on the radio. I started my blog in August 2015 but I didn’t really get in to it properly until earlier this year. I wish the bug had hit me sooner because now I can’t get enough of it. It took me a while to feel confident with my ‘voice’ though so perhaps I needed to ease myself into it.
#fortheloveofBLOG
Ooo well we’re pretty much on a similar time scale too! It is very addictive once the bug hits! Thanks for your great comment.
Great set of questions and some great answers! Glad to know you are a biscuit dunker. Really nice to read a bit more about you x #fortheloveofBLOG

Aww thanks for your comment. These tags float around the blogosphere from time to time!
I love reading blogger tags like this, it’s such a great way to learn a bit more! I have blogged on and off since 2013 but I restarted a blog in May this year and really caught the bug hard! I love it! Before it was just a private blog and I never got involved in any communities! #fortheloveofBLOG
It is great when the bug hits then it’s a constant battle to manage the time you take to blog and family!
Ooh I really like getting to know fellow bloggers. Love this! Savage Garden in their heyday – yes. I Knew I Loved You… ahhhhh.
