Welcome to #FamilyFunLinky Week 24
Family Fun is for all bloggers of all shapes and sizes. A supportive little community to share anything you want. Once the link up ends on a Friday night you get to vote on your favourite blog posts to see if you’ll be a #FamilyFun Number One!
Woohoo! It’s officially March, I don’t quite know why this excites me so much but it does. It’s one step closer to Spring. It already feels a bit like Spring (apart from the weather) with the daffodils breaking through the soil.
I’ve been attempting to tidy up my garden so that I can make full use of it the last few days. We keep having to duck back indoors though because of the icy pelts of rain coming down. We’ve planted out some primroses already in bloom and some tulips which won’t be far behind to add a bit of colour to my brick yard.
At the weekend we begged Dave to stay home with us which meant we went out. Not the best of weather to be going out to a nature reserve but a run around inside an empty nature hide was just what the Robot needed. We even managed to climb the “sky tower”, a viewing point that is 4 storeys high. It was blowing a gale mixed with icy raindrops, we didn’t stay long but managed to get this windswept picture of the Robot:
That’s enough of me… on to all the important bits…
The Winner of “I’m a #FamilyFun Number One”
This weeks winner of “I’m a #FamilyFun Number One” goes to… Katie from Squirmy Popple for The Real Cost of Childcare. This is a real interesting one this week if you’ve not read it I suggest you do. I think the cost of childcare in the UK is far too much for those people who want to and have to go back to work.
It makes me glad that I have the option to stay at home with the Robot to care for him instead of sending off to childcare that costs 40% of a wage. Hopefully things will change for those that want it! Well done you can pick up the badge code for your badge here.
My Featured Post
This week my featured post goes to Donna from Bobsys Mum for Home Made Jammy Dodgers. I love Jammy Dodgers and haven’t had any in a long time. I like the fact that her son requested this as a half term activity and that Donna took on the challenge. They look really affective!! Thanks for linking up, you can pick up the badge code for your badge here.

Please can you follow the rules, they are there to make sure the people link up get a fair amount of comments. Sarah and I have noticed a couple of link dumpers recently and don’t think it’s fair on our regular linkers. We haven’t approached you but hope you change your ways!!!
