View From My… Train Window on The Cumbria Coast
A moment of reflection of time gone by, a snap shot from where I lay my head or better still we lay our heads. A look back on a trip or outing, one that I will always remember and don’t want to forget. A View From My… is my mini series where I will let you glimpse into a memory made through a certain view. Today I’m bringing you a view from my train window on the Cumbria Coast.
A very little Robot is looking out the window on one of the many, many train journeys that we’ve taken him on over the last couple of years. This was a special trip for Dave’s birthday when the Robot was one. There are some older class 40 engines that chug round the coast of Cumbria. Old diesel engines that pull old carriages along throughout the day.
Dave loves them and me being the ever devoted girlfriend and mother of his children I allow day trips out on them from time to time!! Needless to say in the Robots short years he loves them too now. They often go off on mini day adventures without me now. This will have been the first outing for the Robot.
One of my favourite shots to take on our adventures is of the boy looking out of the window. We never get bored spotting all the things we pass. This boy can entertain himself for hours on the train, just check out my guide on how.
Do you have any treasured pictures that give you a view from a door or window? If you fancy sharing them with me or my readers I’d love to see and hear about them, just send me a message.
