View From My… Lap on The Lake Windermere
A moment of reflection of time gone by, a snap shot from where I lay my head or better still we lay our heads. A look back on a trip or outing, one that I will always remember and don’t want to forget. A View From My… is my mini series where I will let you glimpse into a memory made through a certain view. Today I’m bringing you a view from my lap on Lake Windermere.
With the almost arrival of our second child I couldn’t resist pulling this picture out of my approximate 2 month year old Robot. Wanting to get out the house in the early days I jumped into Dave’s work van for the day for a trip out. He ended up working in Windermere. With a couple of hours to spare, the Robot and I took a walk along the shore of the lake. Finding a bench and sitting down.
We sat here for quite some time while he slept and it being such a nice day it was so nice to sit and have sleepy cuddles. It’s one of my favourite pictures of the Robot, my little outdoor baby.
Now he’s 2 and about to be a big brother I’m feeling totally nostalgic and so proud of the confident little by he is becoming. I wonder if I’ll revisit this bench to recreate this picture with the next one…
Do you have any treasured pictures that give you a view from a door or window? If you fancy sharing them with me or my readers I’d love to see and hear about them, just send me a message.
