#FamilyFun Week 15 – Ho Ho Have a Nice Christmas!

Welcome to #FamilyFun Week 15

Lets start off with an IMPORTANT announcement!   Sarah and I are shutting up shop to have a Christmas break.  This is our last link up until the New Year.  This week we’re asking for you to only link up 1 blog post. We are closing on Thursday night and voting is open for you on Friday and Saturday.  We ‘ll tweet you as usual to remind you to vote.   Please do vote it makes us smile!

This weekend I spent getting ready for a bit of a blog break.  This meant I did no blogging this weekend.  Dave looked after the Robot while I got my hair cut.  He took him out to go see some trains while I had a bath.  I actually read a book!  I fell asleep reading it, but I had proper me time!   Then Dave even stayed at home with the little man while I went out drinking cocktails with my friends.    A perfect weekend!

Not much else to report but before you head off to the linky please watch this…  It is adorable:

Have a brilliant Christmas and we will see you in the New Year!

The Winner of “I’m a #FamilyFun Number One”

We have a dual winner for this weeks winner of “I’m a #FamilyFun Number One” and the first goes to… Josefine from My Danglish Family for her Danish Honey Cakes.  New on the blogosphere Josefine is now my Mary Berry of the Danish world.  All her bakes look amazing, these are no exception.  I’ll be inviting myself round in the new year to scrounge for leftovers!

The Second winner is Katie from Squirmy Popple for Why I’m Grateful for my Not So Terrible Toddler.  The Popple is my go to blogger child for the Robots next phase, a couple of months older and what I think are similar character traits, it just makes sense!  I often say to Dave the Popple was doing this a couple of months ago.  It’s nice to hear that she isn’t much of a terrible toddler!

Congratulations to both of you, you can pick up the badge code for your badge here.

My Featured Post

This week my featured post goes to Beth from Bammboo for her Advent Activity Jars.  I really love these jars and would love to do something similar for the Robot one day.  I still think he’s a little bit young to appreciate anything Christmas so I am keeping it low-key this year and as long as possible.  The idea of advent activity jars definitely warm to me more than the elf on the shelf that I’ve seen floating around.   Thanks for sharing this with us and don’t forget to head over to pick up the badge code for your badge.
