#FamilyFun Week 11

Welcome to #FamilyFun Week 11

We have just had a busy fortnight, not just me but also Dave with work.  Life always seems a little foggy when we are busy.  I’ve only just been able to keep up with all the fun of #FamilyFun.  I do hope that you as a linker are enjoying it too?

Making the most of some down time this weekend we don’t really feel like we achieved that much. Dave’s parents came to visit on Sunday and we went for a walk with them.  It’s always nice to see them as we don’t get to see them often.  I always like how shy the Robot is when they first arrive but then comes out his shell to be the cheeky chappy we all know and love.

Saturday afternoon we took a stroll to the pub and the Robot slept the entire time we were there so Dave and I made the most of some fab adult chatting time.  Promptly ruined by the televised sport that got put on just before we left. Funny that.    We took the Robot to the park and had a good play before going home and enjoying a bottle of Prosecco that I won in a raffle.

The weather has turned into one of those Autumnal wet and drizzly starts of the week and I hope that it doesn’t continue.  For now I leave you with a little picture:

Enough about me though… the most important bit…

The Winner of “I’m a #FamilyFun Number One”

Our second winner of “I’m a #FamilyFun Number One” badge goes to… Lucy from Lucy at Home for That Awkward Moment When… I couldn’t help but chuckle at Lucy’s post this week.  A list of cringe worthy parenting moments that I fear I am going to face one day in the future soon.  The worst I could probably add at the moment is going out covered in porridge but even then that one doesn’t really bother me!  Congratulations you can pick up the badge code for your badge here.

My Featured Post

This week my featured award goes to Susie from This is Me Now for Instagram – Who Cares What I’m Eating?… I love this post it reminded me to care less about social media for about 10 minutes!  I’ve been saying this a lot recently but “life is too short”.   Getting wrapped up in social media with people who more often and not you’ve never met is just really time-consuming.   Live in the moment and in real life people!  Saying that, if you blog then there has to be an element of social media presence but don’t panic if you don’t manage to post that picture at 7am like you do every other day!!  Thanks for sharing this with us Susie and don’t forget to head over to pick up the badge code for your badge.

On that note… Are you following me on Instagram?
