5×50

5×50 is a challenge where you have to walk, run or cycle 5k a day for 50 days.  It starts on Sunday 27th April. The philosophy behind 5×50 is that exercise should become a habit not a chore.  Follow my daily progress:

  • Day 1 – As a family we walked 9.6K
  • Day 2 – Walked with the Robot 2K Cycled alone 5K
  • Day 3 – Walked 5k with my Mum
  • Day 4- Walked 6k with my friend 
  • Day 5 – Walked 6k with Dave
  • Day 6 – Walked 5k just me and the Robot
  • Day 7 – Walked 
  • Day 8 – Cycled 6k with the Robot
  • Day 9 – Fit for Mums exercise class
  • Day 10 – Walked 6k around Kendal with Mum
  • Day 11 – Walked 5k around town (somehow!)
  • Day 12 – Walked 5k down the canal
  • Day 13 – Cycled 20k round some back lanes
  • Day 14 – Walked in town 3k and 2k down the canal
  • Day 15 – Cycled 22.5k from Lancaster to Glasson Dock
  • Day 16 – Walked 5k with my Mum along the coast
  • Day 17 – Walked 2k in the am and 3k in the pm
  • Day 18 – Walked 3k in the am and 2k in the pm
  • Day 19 – Walked 5k visiting Happy Mount Park
  • Day 20 – Cycled 12.5K from Arnside to home
  • Day 21 – Walked round Carnforth 9K
  • Day 22 – Walked the River Lune 7.5K
  • Day 23 – Cycled to Slaidburn 12.5Miles!
  • Day 24 – Cycled Back Home 15Miles (a different route!)
  • Day 25 – Walked to Baby Group 2K Walked the canal 3K
  • Day 26 – Walk along the canal with a friend 6k
  • Day 27 – Walked a split day 3k in the morning 2k in the afternoon
  • Day 28 – Walked into town with Mum 3.5k
  • Day 29- Cycled 14k – ALONE!
  • Day 30 – Walkwith Mum 5K
  • Day 31 – In Search of Bluebells 5k!
  • Day 32 – Baby Group walk 5K
  • Day 33 – FitMums – Cycle 7K
  • Day 34 – 5K walk with Mum
  • Day 35- Walk down canal to Pub and back 12k
  • Day 36- Walked 5k wet buggy walk around shops
  • Day 37- Walked 5k with Daddy
  • Day 38- 5K Power walk alone!
  • Day 39- Baby group walks 5K
  • Day 40- Fit4Mums Class
  • Day 41- Walk into town and stations.
  • Day 42 – Walking all over the shop! 5K
  • Day 43 – Walk in the woods
  • Day 44- Cycle 6K
  • Day 45 – Power Walk 5K Alone!
  • Day 46 – Walk in the fields with Ice cream! 5k
  • Day 47 – Cyled to Fit4Mums 7k
  • Day 48 – Walk to Kendal with Mum 5k
  • Day 49 – Cycle Camping 14k
  • Day 50- Cycle back 14k
